The first written evidence of the work carried out on the current vineyards of Monte del Frà dates back to 1492. The Friars (Frà in the Venetian language) are those of the famous Order of Santa Maria della Scala in Verona.
But “great history” also chooses these hills to redesign the borders of Europe: where today there are two of the most important crus of Monte del Frà – Custoza and Staffalo – in 1848 and 1866 two decisive battles were fought for unity and independence of Italy.
In the mid-twentieth century, the arrival of the Bonomo family and the path towards modern quality and sustainability.
