Syracuse, Ortigia and Noto
Dear Visitor,
you will have whole other day to visit the the ancient archaeological heart of Syracuse. Upon arrival visti to the Parco Archeologico della Neapolis and to follow visit to the Greek Theater, the Roman Amphitheater and the ear of Dionysus in the archaeological area. Then the Santuario Madonna delle Lacrime, visit to the minor basilica and sanctuary. Finally visit of Ortigia the oldest part of the city of Syracuse, passing through the temple of Apollo, the Piazza del Duomo with the cathedral, the church of Santa Lucia la Badia and the Aretusa source. Then ahead toward Noto, the ancient baroque town center, one of the most important in Sicily, with buildings, Churches magnificent Cathedral on baroque style. Noto is known as the Capital of the Baroque and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
