Winemaking in the village of Collalbrigo has been present since 1276.
Collalbrigo is the small and old village which sits on top of the ‘Apricus hill’, characterised from its clayey soil and steep hills.Tenuta di Collalbrigo is located in the heart of the DOCG Prosecco hills, between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. In 2019, the DOCG area of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene were given the prestigious status of UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In August 2019, Collalbrigo became a ‘Rive’, the GRAND CRU OF PROSECCO.
TENUTA DI COLLALBRIGO is owned and operated by the COSULICH family, one of the world’s oldest dynasties of SHIPOWNERS, now winemakers since 4 generations.
It has been under the radar of all major wine magazines and columnist such as Veronelli, Gambero Rosso, 2000 Vini, Robert Parker, Wine Spectator, Wine & Spirits, having achieved 90+ ratings with most of them. Tenuta di Collalbrigo Prosecco di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut NV 91 pts. A fresh, focused sparkling with aromas of sliced apples, fresh pears, lemons, chalk and wet stones. It’s medium-bodied with fine, creamy bubbles and high acidity. Lightly off-dry, but well balanced with a mineral finish.
